Who Can Book
Individuals and businesses who register on the Tip Top Drivers mobile app or website.
Customers must be 18 or older, have a valid mobile number, and give accurate pickup and vehicle details. Service areas: Chennai, Coimbatore and outstation trips. Outstation trips are subject to driver availability and may need advance booking.
How Booking Works
- Register with your name, mobile number and email.
- Choose a trip type (one-way or round trip), enter pickup and drop details and select the service.
- Review the fare shown for your chosen trip type and duration.
- Receive booking confirmation. Payment is made after the trip ends.
Driver Assignment
After booking, a driver is assigned and their name and details are shown in the app. We aim to assign a driver within a few minutes of booking. Scheduled bookings are assigned when their booking window opens.

Pricing
We use fixed time-slot pricing based on trip type and duration. All prices are in Indian Rupees and are before 18% GST. "Local" means within 50 km; local trips are capped at 24 hours and outstation trips at 120 hours.

Additional Charges
- Waiting: first 15 minutes free; waiting beyond the grace period may be charged.
- Night charge: Rs 200 for trips between 10 PM and 5 AM.
- Outstation accommodation: Rs 300 per 24 hours.
- Tolls, parking and permits are paid by the customer directly.
Payment
Payment is made after the trip ends, either online through the Cashfree Payments gateway (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets) or in cash to the driver. All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR). We never store card or UPI PIN details.
